This past Sunday night, while many watched the Chiefs take down the Eagles in a nail-biting victory, Heichal had a win of their own, when 110 Heichal talmidim gathered together with their classmates and rebbeim to spend the entire evening engaged in their own evening-long high energy Super Seder. The energy in Heichal Bais Medrash was electric starting from when Rabbi Zev Senter kicked off the evening, reminding the boys of the unique opportunity they had to distinguish themselves by publicly demonstrating the priority of learning Torah and the value we place on it. The first two hours of serious chavrusa learning were fueled by abundant refreshments followed by a lavish dinner, sponsored by Chickies.

The break included a group viewing of Rabbi Dani Staum’s always popular and entertaining Heichal halftime show which interspersed divrei chizuk and humorous bits from a panoply of Heichal rebbeim. The evening closed with renewed energy for a second seder, concluding with spirited singing and dancing and an inspiring message from Heichal rebbe, Rabbi Pesach Skulnick. Rav Skulnick congratulated the boys and noted the nachas the rebbeim and parents (and the boys themselves!) receive from watching the boys’ enviable dedication and commitment to talmud Torah.
