Heichal junior and freshman talmidim enjoyed an invigorating and inspirational Shabbos weekend in Teaneck and Bergenfield. Shabbos began with davening at Congregation Ohr HaTorah, followed by dinner and a beautiful, uplifting tish led by Judaic Studies Menahel Rav Dovid Goldman. The evening was filled with lively singing and divrei Torah shared by various talmidim and rabbeim, including Rabbi Pesach Skulnick, senior ram and ninth-grade rebbe, as well as Daniel Yablok, a freshman talmid, and Dovid Schwartz, a junior talmid.

On Shabbos morning the boys enjoyed a spirited davening and lavish kiddush at Kehilas Lev V’Nefesh, followed by meals at their hosts’ home. The uplifting day continued with seuda shelishis at Cong. Beth Abraham, featuring divrei Torah from Rabbi Yisroel Kaminetsky, menahel of DRS, and Rav Aryeh Stechler, rosh yeshiva of Heichal HaTorah. Shabbos concluded with a moving Havdala, followed by singing and dancing in true Heichal style.
