This past week, Heichal talmidim assisted over 20 chaburos (groups) of families and friends in baking their own matzah for Pesach. Groups organized by Rabbi Danny and Rabbi Zev Senter met at SAR in Riverdale where a pop-up matzah bakery had been set up. At the beginning of every hour-long session, the Heichal students formed, kneaded and prepared the dough for each group of participants, who then rolled the dough into matzah and baked it for Pesach. The Heichal talmidim also guided each group’s members in how to properly roll the dough, sometimes breaking into a rousing Hallel in the signature Heichal vibe.
