This past week, Heichal talmidim assisted over 20 chaburos, groups, of families and friends in baking their own matzah for Pesach. Groups organized by Rabbi Danny Senter of the Chof-K, and his son and Heichal Rebbe, Rabbi Zev Senter, met at SAR in Riverdale where a pop-up matzah bakery was created. The program was initiated as a fundraiser for the Camp Shoko Scholarship fund. At the beginning of every hour-long session, the Heichal students formed, kneaded and prepared the dough for each group, who then rolled the dough into matzah to be baked and used on Pesach. The Heichal talmidim also guided each chabura in learning how to properly roll the dough, sometimes breaking into a rousing Hallel, in the signature Heichal vibe.
