This past week, Heichal talmidim and rebbeim had the privilege of welcoming Rabbi Leo Dee who shared words of encouragement and chizzuk as he discussed his personal experiences with the tragic murder of his wife and two daughters; reinforcing for the boys the importance of bitachon in dealing with personal and communal tragedies. He also shared the immense chizzuk he receives from all of Klal Yisroel; emphasizing the importance of shalom and unity among the nation, and the ability, even through pain, to find joy and recognize the light and nissim that Hashem bestows upon Klal Yisroel. The morning event was followed by a moving tish where Rabbi Dee joined the talmidim in heartfelt singing. The talmidim were deeply moved as they headed into Shabbos.
