This past week, a class of Heichal HaTorah talmidim had the opportunity to visit the offices of the Chof-K, one of the premier hashgacha organizations headquartered in Teaneck, New Jersey. Rabbi Daniel Senter, son of the Chof-K’s founder and its chief operating officer and father of Heichal Maggid Shiur Rabbi Zev Senter, discussed with the boys the intricacies of managing a modern international hashgacha organization and some of the halachic issues and challenges that the boys should be aware of in navigating a kosher lifestyle. The talmidim really benefited from this unique and informative experience.
