The Schreck family of Teaneck had their home severely impacted by a house fire in which a neighboring Teaneck couple lost their lives. The Schrecks will be displaced from their home for some time, and have lost many of their clothes and other items. Donations are being accepted, at Teaneck police headquarters, of items including shoes in men’s size 11; women’s size 7.5; girls sizes 13, 2 and 2 ½; and boys size 2 ½ or 3. Also being accepted are men’s shirts in size large; women’s clothing in sizes medium or large, including sweats; girls clothing in sizes 6 and 9/10; and boys clothing in size 9/10. Friends and neighbors of the Schrecks have also started a GoFundMe page, in an effort to help the family restore a sense of normalcy to their lives.
