Help a Widow Collect The Pension She Is Due

Please consider sending an email to Jaime Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase, [email protected], in support of Elaine Silverberg getting her deceased husband’s pension.

A very simple email reading “Please do the right thing and give Mel Silverberg’s pension to his widow, Elaine” will work.

The full story can be found here: https://shorturl.at/NQ5FH

Elaine, a friend of mine, was widowed very suddenly in 1988, leaving her to raise three very young girls on her own. Chase claimed to have sent three notices for Mel to sign in order to designate Elaine as the beneficiary pension. When she asked for proof, they furnished one undated certified envelope that they claim was sent in 1990, to their previous address and was two years after he died. For the other two “proofs” Chase stated that it was sometime in 1985, with no copies and no date. On the basis of their shoddy paperwork, they are disqualifying Elaine. It’s entirely possible that Mel signed the papers but Chase went through three mergers and changed computer systems several times and many documents could have been purged.

At this point, Elaine is hoping that support from the public, through emails and social media promotion, will push JP Morgan to do the right thing.
