Earlier this month Jeffrey Korbman of Highland Park was appointed director of principal gifts at the Orthodox Union. In that role, he will oversee the foundation office, planned giving, senior development support and special targeted campaigns.
Korbman has been with the OU for six years, initially serving as national development director of NCSY and more recently as director of foundations. In his role at NCSY, Korbman was instrumental in bringing in a pair of multi-million dollar grants, in organizing NCSY’s first national Day of Giving, and in publishing a number of articles about philanthropy that helped raise NCSY’s national profile.
When he’s not working for the OU, Korbman enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Dana; daughter and son in law, Aviva and Jeffrey; son, Sam, and granddaughter, Lily. He is an accomplished woodworker, with samples of his work in many homes throughout the region.
