Hillel of Northern New Jersey will host Dr. Rachel Adatto at Ramapo College’s Alumni Lounge at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 7. Dr. Adatto is an Israeli physician, lawyer, politician and former member of the Knesset. During her tenure in the Knesset, Adatto was the chairperson of the Welfare and Health Committee, focusing mainly on women’s health. Dr. Adatto is a champion of healthy body image, having been vocal in Israel’s “Photoshop Law” that banned ads featuring underweight models. She will be speaking about this law and the impact of over-editing.
