Holocaust Survivors Enjoy Café Europa Program At JFSCNJ Halpern Building in Elizabeth

(Courtesy of JFSCNJ Halpern) Small groups of Holocaust survivors, their caregivers, JFSCNJ volunteers and staff gathered at the Mitzi & Warren Eisenberg Multi-Purpose Center at the JFSCNJ Halpern Building in Elizabeth on February 16 for a program of lunch and entertainment. The Café Europa Program for Holocaust Survivors is also livestreamed for the other participants and their caregivers to enjoy in their homes.

This program featured the engaging musical entertainment of Richard Stillman, who performed English and Hebrew songs on multiple instruments, including the banjo and is pictured tap dancing.

JFSCNJ thanks the generous grant funders, the Wilf Family Foundations and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. Funds from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ, allow the organization to utilize the technology to provide a Hybrid Café Europa program to all of the Survivors in the community.
