(Courtesy of Holy Name Medical Center) Breast surgeon Lynette Mendoza, DO, is now a member of Holy Name Medical Center’s Breast Center, where she joins Erika Brinkmann, MD, and a multidisplinary team of experts who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of breast disease, cancer and other conditions.

“Dr. Mendoza’s expertise will enhance how we care for women in our communities,” said Dr. Adam Jarrett, chief medical officer at Holy Name Medical Center. “Together with Dr. Brinkmann, the pair are leading Holy Name into a new era of breast health. Their high level of expertise, combined with their dedication and passion for helping women, make them a powerful force in the fight against breast cancer and other diseases and conditions that affect the breast.”

Dr. Mendoza is board-certified in general surgery with expertise in breast surgery. Her areas of interest encompass all aspects of breast health, including a type of non-invasive early stage breast cancer called stage 0 or ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) and genetic breast disease. She has also conducted research in molecular biology and breast disease.
