Holy Name Medical Center constructed a sukkah and gathered with staff, physicians, community leaders and visitors in observance of Sukkot.
“As a culturally sensitive organization, it is important to honor the cultural and spiritual needs of every person who walks into our medical center and trusts us with their care,” said Michael Maron, president and CEO of Holy Name. “This holiday not only gives us the opportunity to make patients, families and employees feel more at home, it also gives us the chance to unplug, connect and reflect with one another.”
This marked the seventh year that Holy Name, the first hospital in North Jersey to do so, put up a sukkah.
