In line with recommendations from the CDC, FDA and the New Jersey Department of Health, Holy Name Medical Center will resume offering the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to those who specifically request it. The Pfizer-BioNTech two-dose vaccine will be offered by default at both the Teaneck (Rodda Center) and West New York vaccination centers.

Holy Name has already administered nearly 150,000 vaccinations to date, 7,800 of which were the J&J vaccine, and has not seen any significant adverse reactions.
