I created a painting in honor of the victims of the Meron tragedy: A sunrise background with a quote reminding us that even in times of darkness we must call out to Hashem,
,צָרָה וְיָגוֹן אֶמְצָא: וּבְשֵׁם ה’ אֶקְרָא
In pain and suffering I find myself, and I will call out in God’s name. No matter how dark the night is, the sun will always rise. Etched into the background are 45 golden puzzle pieces, for the 45 people who lost their lives that night. They remind us that everything that happens in this world is part of God’s plan.
