Camp HASC is thrilled to welcome the community to the second annual 3-on-3 tournament at the Frisch School on Saturday night November 21, 7:45-10:45 p.m. An inaugural year participant told the JLNJ “last year’s tournament was a huge success and a great time was had by all.” The Frisch School is a longtime supporter of Camp HASC, once again Rabbi Josh Schulman of Frisch and the Camp HASC young leadership committee have an impressive night planned.

The 2014 Hoops for HASC tournament featured about 35 teams and raised a few thousand dollars. Based on the success and feedback from last year’s event, larger numbers are expected. Registration is open to everyone. To sign up and participate go to hoops.camphasc.org. Every player receives a jersey and swag, there are pro referees, food and refreshments and of course prizes.

Camp HASC believes that everyone deserves to smile. With a unique combination of a caring and professional staff, completely accessible facilities and programs that are tailor made to meet the needs of each camper, HASC has created a world of smiles for over 350 individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities; an unparalleled summer program that they like to call the happiest place on earth. Camp HASC is a summer program for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, they focus on what our campers can do instead of what they can’t.

The community’s ongoing support and involvement will allow Camp HASC to continue to provide an unforgettable summer program for our its special campers
