Students, parents and educators from our community’s high schools showed up before sunrise at Newark airport, on two occasions, to welcome relatives of hostage families who were visiting for the Chabad Women’s Convention. They brought flags, posters, personalized gifts, food packages and inspiring music to provide a warm and loving welcome. It was a deeply moving experience and a powerful message that Bergen County stands in support of our brothers and sisters in Israel, in prayer and in hope.
