Rabbi Sariel Malitzky

The next Highland Park/Edison lunch and learn program will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at noon at Cong. Ohr Torah in Edison. Attendees will enjoy a delicious hot lunch with all the trimmings followed by a powerful and moving presentation by Rabbi Sariel Malitzky, rav of Ohr Torah, who will share his firsthand experience bringing tzedaka, chesed and entertainment to Israelis impacted by the war.

Malitzky will delve into his recent mission to Israel, where he witnessed the devastating effects of the war and the incredible resilience of the Israeli people. Through his captivating storytelling, he will share inspiring stories of hope and strength from the communities his group visited;

showcase impactful videos and pictures that bring the realities of the situation to life; discuss the ways the generous tzedakah efforts are making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected; and offer insights into how everyone can all continue to support their brothers and sisters in Israel during this challenging time.

An afternoon of hope and healing, the program will be a beautiful opportunity to connect with the community in a meaningful way, learn about the ongoing situation in Israel and the vital role of tzedakah and chesed, and find inspiration and strength to make a positive impact in the world.
