The Hudson County Jewish Business Alliance (HCJBA) presented a Business Roundtable Luncheon featuring New Jersey Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. Several dozen of New Jersey’s top business executives exchanged ideas, offered solutions and shared a productive discussion with the top NJ official whose portfolio includes business development.
Elected as the first Lt. Governor of New Jersey, Kim Guadagno took the initiative in helping businesses prosper in the state through programs like “grow New Jersey” and others. In the last couple of months, her job became increasingly important since she has been acting governor frequently with Governor Chris Christie on the campaign trail.
Hosted by The Berger Organization, its president, Brendan Berger, welcomed the Lt. Governor and gave his remarks. David Rosenberg, founder and executive director of the Alliance, praised Ms. Guadagno, saying “Few people in the state know the struggles and hardships that businesses face every day more than the Lt. Governor and even fewer people are so passionate with a proven track record in helping business thrive in the state of New Jersey as does Kim Guadagno.”
After brief remarks by the Lt. Governor which featured her now popular “sharing of her cell number to business leaders,” participants enjoyed a unique platform to create professional relationships between fellow business leaders which is the goal and mission of the HCJBA as it aims to provide networking opportunities for local businesses.
“I walked away from this roundtable discussion convinced that few people in New Jersey understand the business needs more than the Lt. Governor, and look forward to continuing our conversation in concrete terms. I’m grateful to the HCJBA for arranging this event,” said Nathan Herzog, executive vice president at Royal Wine Corp., a prominent charter member of the Alliance.
