i-Shine Westchester/Riverdale kids had a blast playing “Hungry Hungry Hippos” this week at Westchester Day School. “i-Shine is the place where kids can just be themselves—playing games, meeting new friends, schmoozing with their high school mentors and putting aside issues they may be dealing with at home,” said i-Shine coordinator Yvette Finklestein. “It’s a fun place, with snacks, dinners, activities and special-occasion celebrations.” i-Shine Westchester/Riverdale is Chai Lifeline’s after-school program for children impacted by illness or loss in their family.
