The children at IBECC have been learning all about the Seder and the seder plate. They made their own grape juice and matzah, tasted maror, dipped parsley in salt water and ate an egg and lettuce. They also chopped up apples and pears to make charoset. Throughout all the experiences they learned why each thing is done—to remember the Jewish people working hard in Egypt and that now we are free.
