At the fourth meeting of Jewish Federation’s iCAN Teen Task Force, on December 12, a representative from the fraternity AEPi presented an interactive program on coalition building and the art of making friends on campus. After dinner and a lively discussion of current events, the teen leadership group brainstormed on methods of engaging with different groups and organizations while on campus. The important takeaway for the students was that collaboration and connection to other groups and organizations is one of the most effective tools to counter the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement.
Jewish Federation’s iCAN Teen Task Force is an elite leadership group preparing teens with knowledge and confidence to tackle anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment in the world.
