JKHA/RKYHS students were proud to host the IDF Musical Ensemble at their school. Seventh and eighth graders, along with all RKYHS students, enjoyed a fantastic pre-Chanukah concert co-sponsored by the New Jersey Friends of the IDF (FIDF) and Israel Bonds. The ensemble performed the same popular and traditional songs that they perform for troops at army bases across Israel. The IDF Musical Ensemble raises the spirits of soldiers and provides the troops with emotional and spiritual relief so they can better focus on the defense of the country. Before the concert the soldiers were presented with cards by Lower School students that were made at the JKHA Open House Family Fun Day, thanking the members of the IDF for protecting the Land of Israel.
