Rabbi Yisroel came to school and taught the children how to make olive oil for the menorah. The children first had to separate the good olives from the bad ones. Then they put the olives into the machine and watched as the machine pressed the oil out of the olives. The children all said the bracha together and as they lit the first candle with the olive oil they made.
