The students at IEBECC in Livingston had a hands-on parsha experience recently as they “rode” a donkey to the well as part of their learning about Parshas Chayei Sara. Created and built by Morah Orly, each child from the youngest students to the 4s class was able to ride the donkey around the gym and then into the classroom where a well was set up in the corner. Students in the 4s class at the Iris and Errol Berman Early Childhood Center also created model pitchers out of paper that they moved up and down into the well.
