As if I haven’t been sickened enough by the surge of antisemitic incidents, the dissemination of misinformation and the heartbreaking events of October 7, the full-page ad you ran on November 2 (“Haschasas Ha’Olam”) not only made me feel physically ill but seeing red with rage.

What exactly is this Nachum Ben Zev saying?

Does he think that my sainted grandparents, aunts and uncles, all rabbis and shomer mitzvot Jews were mistakenly gassed by the Nazis? That only their secular neighbors should have perished?

I know who needs to do teshuvah, and it’s not the people who have the audacity to practice non-halachic Tikkun Ha’Olam.
