Isaac Shulman and Atara Clark Celebrate Winter Wedding With Warm Kumzitz

Isaac Shulman and Atara Clark were married on February 18 at the Greentree Country Club in New Rochelle, New York.

Atara is the daughter of Nissan Clark of Bergenfield. She is a research associate at Fortress Biotech in New York City. The kallah graduated from the Moriah School and Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls. She learned at Midreshet Lindenbaum (Brovender’s) and earned a BA in biochemistry at Stern College for Women.

Isaac is the son of Elliot and Vickie Shulman of Englewood. He is a student in the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) at Yeshiva University and expects to receive semicha in June 2019. He is also earning an MA in mathematics, which is expected in May 2019. The chatan is a graduate of the Moriah School and Torah Academy of Bergen County. He learned at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush) before earning a BA in philosophy and math at Yeshiva University.

A highlight of the wedding was a kumzitz with the band Kolplay and singer Johnny Shlagbaum. Toward the end of the second dance, the couple’s family and friends gathered in a large circle, as the fast dance music switched to more emotional songs including Im Eshkachech and Tov Lehodot.

Isaac and Atara were introduced by friends. The couple is living in Teaneck.
