Israel Bonds Metro NJ Hosts Annual Gala Honoring Community Members

Israel Bonds proudly hosted a distinguished event to honor three remarkable individuals—Alan Schall, Dr. Alexander Marcus and Bobbi Ostrow—recognizing their unwavering commitment and significant contributions to supporting the State of Israel. The event took place on September 18 at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston to bring together community leaders, supporters and friends united in their dedication to Israel.

The evening featured inspiring speeches highlighting the honorees’ extraordinary efforts in promoting Israel’s economic development and strengthening its global standing. Schall, a longstanding advocate for Israel Bonds and chair of the Israel Bonds Metro NJ Signature Society, has played a pivotal role in raising awareness and supporting Israel through voluntary efforts.

Marcus, a renowned health professional, has been involved in Israel Bonds since the early 1980s when his parents were the honorees at an Israel Bonds dinner. Since then, he has been involved in the Israel Bonds Metro NJ Health Professional’s Division and was able to participate in a medical mission to Israel.

Ostrow, a community organizer, has consistently championed various causes that uplift Israeli society. Her tireless work in supporting Israel through multiple Jewish organizations is outstanding. She prides herself in instilling the importance of giving to the State of Israel and the Jewish community to her grandchildren.

As the evening concluded, attendees left inspired and motivated to continue their efforts in supporting Israel. Israel Bonds remains committed to securing the future of the State of Israel.
