With so many men in Israel being called up, there is a need for actual hands on deck like we haven’t seen in 50 years. While logistics need to be worked out to safely prepare for our arrival, in the coming days and weeks, there will be calls for volunteers to do work that otherwise would have been performed by the many men called up. There are sure to be many different volunteer options from which you can choose.

I am going to work on an IDF army base. I am told there will likely be a call from Sarel and its U.S. division Volunteers for Israel (VFI). For 75 years Israelis have risked their lives to protect Israel, the home for all Jews. At certain moments in time, Jews in the Diaspora have had an opportunity to be part of that bold mission. This is one of those moments. Hopefully, you will never have this opportunity again.
