The sounds of students cheering each other on could be heard all throughout middle school for the division’s Maccabiah! Teams Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael competed for the title, participating in friendly competition and filled with spirit. From Map Mania, the Daily Dose Doozy and Who Wants to Be an Israeli? to Google It!, Minute to Win It and sports competitions, the sportsmanship, camaraderie and teamwork could be felt all around. Team banners, 3D cardboard creations and team songs in English and Hebrew were on display at the day’s finale, that rounded out the competition. The vision of the team captains arm-in-arm as they awaited the day’s results encapsulated the unity of the day’s competition. Mazal tov to Team Eretz Yisrael!
