JBN Hosts Gabelli Executive Business Luncheon

(Courtesy of JBN) The JBN Gabelli Executive Business Luncheon recently brought together a select group of business executives, young leaders and esteemed guests for an event focused on connection, insight and inspiration. This dynamic gathering showcased the collective strength of the Jewish Business Network (JBN) community and its commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships within the business world and beyond.

The luncheon featured a thought-provoking discussion with Westchester County Deputy Executive Richard Wishnie, who shared his expertise on critical topics, including business development in Westchester County, as well as building partnerships between government and the private sector.

A special thanks to luncheon chair, Gary Katz, managing partner at Downtown Capital Partners, for leading an engaging and interactive roundtable discussion. In remarks introducing DCE Wishnie, Katz spoke about the importance of maintaining a non-partisan approach to government and politics to create a peaceful, ethical and prosperous society united under one God. Focusing on the role the Jewish business community can play, Katz emphasized the importance of united support for Israel and combating senseless hatred at all levels of American society, especially during these times. His leadership set the stage for meaningful exchanges and valuable connections among attendees.

Attendee Adam Hammerman, vice president and CFO of New York Medical College, a Westchester-based affiliate of Touro University, said, “JBN Gabelli Executive Roundtables are incredibly valuable, providing us with unique opportunities to connect and exchange valuable insights with other industry leaders. Today’s event gave us the unique opportunity to hear directly from our deputy county executive. In a post-October 7 era, JBN has become even more critical in enabling us to support one another while developing business prospects and opportunities to give back to our communities through mentorship, educational and philanthropic endeavors.”
