(Courtesy of JCC MetroWest) Eight hundred people from the community gathered at JCC MetroWest in West Orange, New Jersey, on August 5, for the inaugural Rock The Block street fair style event with entertainment, food and face painting. Families were entertained with musical performances by Rock N’ Roll Babies, Triple Threat Theatre Camp and Bobby Beetcut. A guest appearance by Camp Deeny Riback mascot Moosepacha delighted the crowd. Food was available for purchase by JJ’s Holy Cow, Kona Ices and Squirrel and the Bee. This free community event is just one of the many offerings JCC MetroWest has for the community. The event was sponsored by Schumacher Chevrolet of Livingston, A-Money Sportz, Jan Press/PhotoMedia and Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC.
