JCC MetroWest to Hold Inaugural NJJFF Teen Film Fest

The New Jersey Jewish Film Festival announces a new festival for 2019—the NJJFF Teen Film Fest. Building upon their successful NJJFF, entering its 19th year, the Teen Film Fest seeks to encourage young filmmakers in their continued creative endeavors. Entrants aged 13-18 and living in the Greater MetroWest area were requested to submit original films, under 10 minutes in length, involving Jewish themes.

The Teen Film Fest will be held at JCC MetroWest’s Maurice Levin Theatre (760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held on Wednesday, February 20. A dessert reception will follow the presentation of films. Entry is free; advanced registration is requested. To register and secure seats, please visit https://jccmetrowest.org/event/njjff-teen-film-fest/.

“We are excited for the opportunity to showcase the talents of our Greater MetroWest NJ teen filmmakers to the broader JCC MetroWest community audience,” said Andrea Bergman, co-chair, New Jersey Jewish Film Festival.
