JCC MetroWest is proud to invite members of the greater community to a virtual concert focusing on the music of African-American and Jewish composers. The event is free, open to all, and will be held over Zoom on Monday, January 18, at 7 p.m. The featured artists for this event include Mary Ferrillo, viola, and Francesca McNeeley, cello. The resident artist is Yvonne Chen on piano.

William Grant Still: “Summerland” (from Three Visions) for piano solo
Charles Albert Tindley, arr. Kenji Bunch: “We Shall Overcome” for viola solo
Joachim Stutschewsky: “Prayer and Wanderer’s Song” for cello and piano
Florence Price: “Adoration and Night” for viola and piano
Dorothy Rudd Moore: “Moods” for viola and cello
Scott Joplin: “The Entertainer” for piano solo
Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson: selections from “Lamentations: Black Folk Song Suite” for solo cello
