JCOT Book Club to Meet on Sunday

Professor Sarah Rindner will lead the literary discussion of the book “A City in Its Fullness” by S.Y. Agnon, a Nobel Laureate, at the Leaves of Faith Book Club at the Jewish Center on Sunday, December 3, at 8 p.m.

Professor Rindner will focus on 10 Stories: “The Sign,” “Buczacz,” “The Tale of the Menorah,” “The Hazzanim,” “The Man Dressed in Linen,” “The Hazzanim, Continued,” “The Great Town Hall,” “The Disappeared,” “In a Single Moment” and “Pisces.”

Professor Rindner and Rabbi Fridman will lead the discussion. The group will be analyzing the themes and literary qualities of the book.

The Jewish Center of Teaneck’s Leaves of Faith Book Club meets for stimulating and religiously inspiring discussions about great literature.

The book may be obtained from your local library or favorite book store. All interested participants are requested to read the book in advance.
