JCOT Hosts Community-Wide MLK Jr. Event

(Courtesy of JCOT) This past Sunday evening, the Jewish Center of Teaneck held a community-wide event in honor of the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Day titled, “After Jersey City: Pursuing Communal Harmony in a Polarized Age.”

The event was a conversation featuring Teaneck Mayor Mohammed Hameeduddin, former Mayor Kevie Feit and former Town Manager William Broughton. It was moderated by Rabbi Daniel Fridman of the Jewish Center of Teaneck. Each person spoke on the topic and people in the audience had the opportunity to ask questions.

Participating shuls included Arzei Darom, Congregation Beth Aaron, Congregation Bnai Yeshurun, Congregation Shaare Tefillah, Jewish Center of Teaneck, Keter Torah, Netivot Shalom, Ohr Saadya, Rinat Yisrael, Young Israel of Teaneck and Zichron Mordechai.
