JCRC Members Visit With New Jersey Senator Pou

(Courtesy of the JCRC) Members of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey visited the office of New Jersey State Senator Nelly Pou of Legislative District 35 on May 30. The group discussed issues regarding relations with and concerns about Israel, homeland security, anti-Semitism and senior care with the senator’s chief of staff, Carol Cuadrado.

JCRC Director Ariella Noveck stated, “It was great discussing with Senator Pou’s chief of staff Jewish Federation’s top priorities that are of concern for kids, adults and seniors.” The JCRC meets with legislators of a single district and it’s catchment area each month. Small groups will meet with the legislators face to face to advocate key issues affecting the community and the state of New Jersey.

For additional information or to attend the next Legislative Advocacy Day, please email Ariella Noveck at [email protected].
