JEC Lower School had an incredible Chanukah! The days were filled with fun and meaningful activities. Students began each morning with a special candle lighting during morning greet and continued on with various programs throughout the week. The Friday oneg included Teacher Minute to Win it! Students loved cheering on teachers and administrators as they competed in Chanukah-themed competitions. Everyone participated in a chesed activity for Israel in which students decorated bears for displaced children. Students enjoyed a Chicago Boyz show, Bruriah Middle School carnival, glow parties and so much more! Students loved the French fry bar, delicious sufganiot and gelt to help enhance the Chanukah spirit. Teachers loved the Rosh Chodesh breakfast and teacher appreciation lunch.
