Look how the garden grows! Thanks to a grant from Union County Kids Dig-In Program, the JEC Early Childhood planted its own garden. The garden features a delicious assortment of vegetables and herbs, as well as milkweed to attract monarch butterflies! Each of the Early Childhood classes will take a turn tending to and being responsible for the garden. Through their work in the garden, the children are developing an appreciation for how food grows. As part of the learning experience, the JEC will be paying this gift forward by donating 30% of the yield to the Jewish Family Service Food Bank.
