On Sunday Morning the JEC juniors, nursery and kindergarten gathered together by grade on Zoom, to celebrate the end of the year together. The theme of the program was Hakarat Hatov and the parents, students, teachers and administrators were able to express their gratitude to each other for a wonderful, albeit challenging, school year. The children came home with a package consisting of a JEC lemon squeezer, real lemons, lemon cookies and a lemonade recipe card as an ode to the “lemonade out of lemons” they all made together this year! Video presentations were shared that the teachers and students made to express what they were thankful for throughout the year. Kindergarten A even came up with something to be grateful for that started with each letter of the alphabet, wow!
