A hallmark of the JEC experience is the relationships developed among students and with their rebbeim. With the grade coming together for Shabbat, and with Rabbi Neuman, Rabbi Sauber, Rabbi Malitzky and Rabbi Ginsberg in attendance, these connections had the perfect opportunity to take root.

Shabbat was filled with ruach. Whether during the beautiful oneg hosted by the Klein family and led by Rabbi Ginsberg, the inspiring davening at the OT teen minyan, the amazing chaburot with community members, a zemirot-filled lunch at the shul and an inspiring seuda shleishit at the Malitzky home, the boys were on fire with passion and energy. A JEC style Havdala, followed by sports night at RPRY made for a perfect ending to a truly amazing Shabbat together.
