JEC High School Has Night out at Great Wolf Lodge

One of the hallmarks of the JEC high school experience is connection. JEC is a school where growth happens through a shared sense of community and support—both between students and rebbeim/teachers and among the students themselves. Perhaps nowhere is that seen more than on school trips.

Last Thursday night, JEC High School took over the Great Wolf Lodge water park, and students, staff and their families joined together for two unforgettable hours of fun and bonding.

The night began with a delicious Chickies dinner—hero sandwiches, sliders, poppers and more! After Maariv, everyone loaded the buses and made their way to the 75,000 square-foot, indoor water park. They raced down the water slides, played water basketball, surfed the wave pool and relaxed in the lazy river.

“This was one of the best JEC trips ever,” said senior Moshe Heller. “None of us wanted to leave.”

Lodge employees commented on how well-mannered the students were. Some expressed to the rebbeim that they never heard so many “thank yous” before.

And of course, before the bus ride home, everyone got deli subs, having worked up (yet another) huge appetite. What an awesome night!
