JEC is excited to introduce two new amazing head coaches for the upcoming spring season. This year, the JEC baseball Thunder will be coached by Jonathan Gardner. Originally from East Brunswick, Gardner learned in Yeshivat Torat Shraga and majored in biology in Yeshiva University. A three year veteran pitcher (and captain) of the YU baseball team, he is married and lives in Washington Heights. Joining Gardner’s coaching staff will be Noam Lichtman, Ezer Manzon and Jacob Siegel—all JEC alumni.

In yet another great hiring for the school, JEC alum, Akiva Neuman, will be coaching the soccer team this year. Coach Neuman learned in Yeshivat Shaalvim and majored in accounting at Yeshiva University. Fans may recognize Neuman from his stint on American Ninja Warrior, but his first role of fame came as captain of the JEC soccer team in 2009. Neuman resides in Highland Park with his wife and two children.
