JEC High School Presents New Hires

As school kicks back into full gear, students at JEC High School are poised to reach even greater heights. To help guide them along their paths, JEC is excited to have added some amazing new teachers and guidance personnel to its already robust and incredible staff lineup.

Rabbi Ariel Zafarani, himself a graduate of JEC, joins the limudei kodesh department as a rebbe and ninth grade madrich. Luisa Frei, a veteran teacher at Yeshivat Frisch and in schools abroad, joins the language arts department with her extensive experience in teaching and curricular development. Joyce Trivisani, a master teacher with over three decades of classroom experience, joins the science department and is excited to get into the state-of-the-art JEC STEM wing. Shlomo Tanenbaum joins the math team with his very own creative and interactive classroom learning styles. Daniel Furhang joins the science department with his own brand of teaching, bringing to the table his own experiences from his dynamic teaching career.

Dr. Avi Muschel, previously a counselor in the YU system, joins the JEC family to head the guidance department. Dr. Muschel brings a wealth of experience from his work at YU, as well as from his private practices as well.

These new team members fit the JEC mold perfectly: talented and impassioned educators who are ready to jump in and get to work!
