For the first time ever, the JEC High School has put out its very own Haggadah for Pesach. The JEC Bkol Ram Haggadah has been compiled by the incredible publication staff through tremendous effort and dedication. A big thank you to Ephraim Luchins who spearheaded the initiative, to Ari Bialik, and to the dedicated teacher and Bkol Ram faculty advisor, Tamar Sullivan, who worked countless hours editing and arranging all of the divrei Torah.
On Thursday, Ms. Frey‘s 12th grade English class participated in a Shark Tank project in which they had to create, design, market and pitch inventions of their own making. From the sports world to the cooking one, students creatively pitched their products to a panel of faculty judges, including Dr. Muschel, Ms. Down, Mrs. Sullivan and Mrs. Leykin. The class is keeping the ideas under wraps so as not to give away any potential world-changing ideas.
Many alumni who have returned from learning in Eretz Yisrael were welcomed back this week as they came in to learn with their rebbeim. They davened with the entire student body, they then had hashkafa chaburos, followed by morning seder and shiur. The incredible learning will continue until Pesach break.
