On Monday, JEC student once again bridged the gap between their studies and the real world. Continuing their partnership with NASA, students ran a 34-m radio telescope from school to scan various black holes in space, collecting data for NASA and other global scientists. This program allows students to actively obtain expertise with authentic data collection for professional organizations on a global stage. To actually collect meaningful data is a wonderful opportunity to validate the importance of the learned material.
