One of the special things about JEC is the bonds that are formed between students and rebbeim. JEC nights out foster these all-important connections. Last week, students spread out to three different locations for another awesome evening of fun and excitement.
The ninth and tenth grades went to Dave & Busters for hours of unlimited games. The highlights of their night were the competitions against Rabbi Ginsberg and Rabbi Malitzky in a variety of games. “Spending time with the rebbeim outside of the classroom, in a relaxed atmosphere, was awesome!” said Dani Hess, sophomore from Linden. “I can’t wait until next time.”
The eleventh grade (who also got to eat out in style at Park Place in Highland Park) went to Top Golf, a unique, interactive indoor driving range. The competitions for longest shot and greatest accuracy were super intense.
The seniors visited Coastal Sports, where they played bubble soccer, archery tag and tchoukball.
After the first hour of the event, the students were already completely exhausted. “As a senior, I really appreciate how the school does so many things to make our high school experience awesome,” said Yair Cantor. “This great trip is just another example. It was also an opportunity to bond as a grade, and even make new friends, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.”
