This week, JEC held a solemn and heartfelt tribute assembly to honor the legacy of our fallen giant, Rav Teitz, whose impact on our community was immeasurable. In a moving display of continuity and respect, his grandsons, Aaron and Moshe, participated in the program—Aaron leading Tehillim and Moshe delivering poignant words about his revered grandfather. The assembly also featured powerful eulogies from Mr. Alex Speyer, Rabbi Shapiro, Rabbi Binyamin Blau and Rabbi Neuman, each sharing reflections on Rav Teitz’s towering influence as a leader, educator and role model. As students, faculty and the broader community continue to grieve this profound loss, JEC remains committed to preserving his legacy, with plans for future memorial events to honor his lifelong dedication to Torah, education and the values he instilled in all of us.
