The JEC HS robotics team recently competed in the CIJE Robotics Competition, where the goal was to pick up specific colored rings, load them onto a mobile goal, and place the goal in a designated corner. The team designed a robot with a pneumatic clamp to grip the mobile goal and a belt system to load the rings onto the stake. After weeks of preparation, the team performed well, advancing to the playoff round, where they were ultimately defeated. It was a great effort, and the students gained valuable experience to apply in future competitions.
