Parents are raving about yoga, the most recent component to JEC’s early childhood mindfulness program. The youngest JEC children enjoy an integrated yoga experience involving storytelling, games, music and language to engage the whole child. Morah Sivan’s yoga classes with the early childhood students enhance the children’s flexibility, strength, coordination, concentration and body awareness. Other benefits include developing breathing techniques that calm and refresh the body and mind. The impact has been tremendous on our children’s well being and readiness to learn and play.
